B. Suggestions

After accomplishing the research and the data analysis of the research, the researcher would like to give some suggestions for the students, lecturers, and future researchers. The suggestions are:

1. For the students

a. The students are suggested to be proactive in the teaching-learning process.. b. The students are suggested to solve their own problems when they find any difficulties in doing the worksheet. c. The students are suggested to communicate in English with the instructors or their classmates.

2. For the instructors

a. The instructors need to pay more attention to the students’ learning process, not only pay attention to the result. b. The instructors had to ensure students or at least showing the significant improvement in those questions in the worksheet c. The instructors cannot permit students to do the next level if they had not mastered yet the materials of the last level, even though the students have a remedial when they get bad score. d. The instructors are suggested to communicate in English with the students and the other instructors.

3. For the future researchers

This research is de aling with students’ perception on the implementation of independent learning in Kumon English Course as the way to develop students’ 49 English skills in which the nature of class also support the students to be more independent since the instructors do not teach them in front of class. Therefore, the future researchers who are willing to conduct a research dealing with the implementation of independent learning can focus more on the use of worksheet and CD-textbook in Kumon English Course. Furthermore, the future research can also try to compare the level of independence between the new students and the old students on the implementation of independent learning in Kumon English Course . It is because the students in Kumon English Course are children so that the instructors need to apply appropriate learning activities that will build the students’ responsibility towards their own learning process so that the knowledge will keep longer in their mind for the future life.
