2. Error Classification
It is obvious that the students produce errors during their activity in learning the L2 language. Once after the researcher grouped the students writing
assignments into two different topics, the researcher found errors made by students in their writing. The errors are the misuse of preposition of place and
position; direction and motion; time; manner, agent, and instrument. The lists of errors are presented in the table below.

Based on the Table 4.2, it can be seen that out of four forms of preposition, there were three ranks of preposition error made by tenth grade student. The
highest rank was place and position form with 44,44 from total 36 items of errors. Second rank was time form and direction and motion with 22,22. The
lowest rank was manner, agent, and instrument with 11,11. Therefore, from the Table 4.2 above, it can be concluded that preposition error mostly made by tenth
grade student of SMA 1 Sapuran, Wonosobo was in the place and position form, with the highest percentage 44,44 from total 36 items of errors.

Table 4.3 showed that most of preposition errors made by tenth grade student was place and position form. The result was the same with the first result
on the first topic Table 4.2 where the highest rank of errors was in place and position form with 64,79 from total 71 items of preposition errors. The second
rank was in direction and motion form with 19,72. Time form was in the third rank with 9,86, and the lowest rank was manner, agent, and instrument form
with 5,63. In short, based on the result above it can be concluded that the preposition error which is commonly made by tenth grade student of SMA 1
Sapuran, Wonosobo was in place and position form.
3. Data Presentation of Questionnaire and Interview
