3. Data Gathering

Data collection was done through some observations of classes of each level and a plan of dig interview with a guideline to each category of participants. The procedures taken in this grounded research were 1 preparing a guideline of interview and observation, 2 the data collection with participants using interview and classroom observation that were recorded and transcribed into written text.

4. Data Processing

The procedures which were taken to conduct this grounded theory research are adopted from Strauss and Corbin 1990 as quoted in Creswell 2007: 66-67. They are: 1 the research is begun with determining whether grounded theory is best suited to her research problem, 2 the research questions to the participants focused on understanding how the participants experience the process and identifying the steps in the process, after that the research explored for more detailed questions to shape the coding of the data, 3 the questions were asked in the interviews, but there were possibilities of collecting data from other forms, such as observation, documents and audiovisual materials, 4 then the data were analyzed. It formed categories of information about the phenomenon in open coding, 5 in axial coding, the data were assembled in new ways, 6 It described a story line writing that connects the categories, 7 after that the research developed and visually portrayed the conditions influencing the central phenomenon, 8 the result of this data collection and analysis was the generation of theory as the goal of the research.

5. Trustworthiness

The data and the analysis results of this research need to be validated. The data were validated by using triangulation. Triangulation of the data in this research used several instruments chosen from interviews and classroom observations. The information sources were gathered from interviews and class observations to explore the real process. Besides, I did peer review that was discussing the analysis results to generate the theory about the interactive principles in English learning and teaching interaction at the international oriented senior high school in the light of curriculum 2013. 51
