8. Description of Teachability Aspect
Having interviewed the teachers, each workbook helped the teacher in providing exercises for the students. The teacher needed shorter time in preparing the
material because each book had both theory and the exercises. Each book also

provided some exercises to do both in group and individually. It could encourage students’ independence. Further, spoken and written activities could be found in this
book, so the exercises could be applied for students of mixed ability.
9. Description of Flexibility Aspect
For Flexibility aspect, Workbook 1 accomplished all criteria. The book was useful for the students because each topic had enough tasks for repetition. The
materials in the book, especially for the expressions were provided for different levels of formality Figure 4.47.

In addition, Workbook 1 catered for different learning styles, such as lecturing, discussion, pairs work, and individual work. Based on this condition, the book gave
the opportunity for teacher and students to localise activities. In Flexibility Aspect for Workbook 2, the book accomplished all criteria
except the second criterion. This book was useful for the students because each topic had enough tasks for repetition. Workbook 2 also catered for different learning styles,
such as lecturing, discussion, pairs work, and individual work. Based on this condition, the book gave the opportunity for teacher and students to localise

activities. The only criterion which was not accomplished is the book did not cater for different levels of formality.

on page 17 Figure 4.48 and the materials in the book, especially for the expressions were provided for different levels of formality Figure 4.49.
