Workbook 1 had no material for listening skill, so criterion 1 and criterion 2 in Language Skills aspect were not fulfilled; this book did not cover the four skills
adequately. While for reading skill, there were little materials provided, such as short text, because most were theories and short exercises. However, there was sufficient
material for speaking skill because Workbook 1 contained dialogues to practice and for writing activities, the book had suitable terms of length, degree of accuracy, and
amount of guidance, for example, creating a greeting card Figure 4.40.

Besides, Workbook 1 had materials for integrated skills work, as shown on page 38 and page 59 Figure 4.41. In Figure 4.41, the exercise shown is the material for
integrated skills work, reading skill – writing skill.
