The data of descriptive statistics of the respondents’ opinions on the designed materials are presented in Table 8.
b. Respondents’ Comments and Opinions on the Designed Set of Materials
The respondents were also asked to give comments and opinions about the designed materials. There were some spaces in the questionnaire available for their
comments and opinions. The respondents’ comments and opinions were help ful and important for the improvement of the designed materials.
Generally, the respondents assumed that the designed set of materials were quite well prepared and well designed. They also said that the layout was interesting and
eye catching. The other said that the design was simple and easy to understand and helped the students to communicate better in English. Moreover, another respondent
acknowledged that the design set of materials was too easy for the fourth grade students. The other said that the use of various pictures in one unit is not consistent.
