1. Situational Code Switching
This kind of code switching occurs when the language used change according to the situations in which the conversant find themselves; they speak one language in one situation
and in a different one. No topic change is involved. There are utterances that belongs to
situational code switching, they are 1.
Deddy : Gimana caranya 38 tahun. You still have that face. Bisa kulitnya bisa putih, bisa cantik, rahasianya apa?
Nadya : I look up for myself, yah. Dan selalu makan sehat. Sekitar like 80
vegetarian, Deddy : 80 vegetarian?
Nadya : about eighty percent
