Kegiatan Penutup Closing
• Guru mengulas kembali apa yang sudah
dikerjakan selama awal pembelajaran
hingga akhir pembelajaran. Guru
memberi kesempatan kepada siswa untuk
memberikan feedback.
• Guru menutup pelajaran dengan
mengajak siswa berdoa agar materi
yang dipelajari dapat bermanfaat.

Opening • Guru membuka
pelajaran dengan menyapa siswa,
menanyakan kabar, dan lain-lain.
• Sebagai pemanasan, guru dapat melakukan
suatu permainan atau membaca cerita tentang
cause and effect. Untuk permainan guru harus
menyiapkan 2 set kartu. Satu set adalah
kelompok kartu yang bertuliskan ungkapan
cause, yang satu set lagi bertuliskan ungkapan
effect. Jumlah kartu disesuaikan dengan
jumlah siswa. Jika siswa di kelas 20 orang, guru
menyiapkan 10 kartu cause prompt dan 10
kartu effect prompt. Kalau jumlah siswa
ganjil, digenapkan oleh guru. Guru membagi
kelas menjadi 2 kelompok, cause and
effect. Bagikan kartu secara random sesuai
kelompoknya. Kartu cause untuk kelompok
cause, kartu effect untuk kelompok effect. Setelah
semua kartu terbagi, masing-masing mencari
pasangan yang sesuai antara cause dan effect.
• Teacher greets the students and asks them
to pray before starting the lesson.

you doing today? Let’s pray before
starting our activity.
• Teacher can play a game or read a cause
and effect story to the students to charge the
class. For the game, teacher has to prepare
2 sets of prompts, namely cause and
effect. For example: Cause Prompt: Ray
was very hungry. Effect: He ate siomay
and fries. The prompts have to
be exactly the same as the number of students
in the class. If there are 20 students that means
10 cause prompts and 10 effect prompts.
Teacher has to divide the class into two
groups, cause and effect. Give the cards
randomly. Once all the cards are given,
students have to ind
