B. Recommendation
The writer was able to accomplish the main purpose of this research, but there are still some areas that could be improved on. This part provides some
suggestions as recommendations for English lecturers, learners, and further researchers.
1. For English lecturers of the Theology Study Program
Using Ignatian Pedagogy in the design, it is suggested for the lecturers to accompany the students in order to facilitate and grow through encounters with
truth and explorations of human meaning. Moreover, it becomes a practical tool and effective instrument for making a difference in the way of teaching and
learning. The lecturers could develop the teaching strategies in teaching writing in
order to achieve the goals of the teaching English. The lecturer should be creative to make learning process as interesting as possible, so that the students will be
brave to create their own text based on the topic learned in the lesson. Individual guidance is helpful to improve the
learners’ proficiencies in English especially for writing skill.
2. For students of the Theology Study Program
This research has presented a set of English writing materials which is designed appropriately based on the learners’ needs. But, the materials are only
the source and guidance. It means that it will be useless without the learners’
efforts to keep practicing on those materials. Moreover, the learners are expected

to participate actively in all activities. More practice will improve the learners’
ability in writing.
3. For further researches
It is suggested to those, who are interested to conduct similar research, to develop many teaching strategies for Theology Study Program students which are
based on Theology context. They could also vary the teaching activities based on Ignatian Pedagogy in order to enhance students to be interested in learning
English writing. It should emphasize the other genre that learners might need.
