Then, the writer calculated the class percentage that is passed to the Minimum Mastery Criterion, using the formula: P = P = 47.5 Based on the result of post-test 1, the mean score of the class derived 70.8 in which there were 19 students or 47.5 of the students who got score above the Minimum Mastery Criterion. However, there was an increase of students‘ mean score from preliminary study was 64.8 while in the first cycle was 70.8. It means that there was 9.3 of mean score improvement. The improvement score derived from the formula: = = 9.3

b. The Result of Students’ Reading Comprehension Post-Test 2 Cycle 2

Post-test 2 was conducted after the cycle 2 is being implemented. In this cycle, the students got better score, there were 32 students had reached KKM, the mean score also improved from 70.8 to 79.5. It means there was an improvement of students‘ mean score became 12.3. The calculation of the mean students‘ score in post-test 2 was derived from: ̅ = = 79.5 Then, the calculation of class percentage about 32 students who passed the KKM score was derived from this formula: P = P = 80 Next, the calculation of the improvement percentage is gained from the following formula: = = 12.3 In conclusion, there were 32 students out of 40 students who passed the minimum score after group work is applied in two cycles. The initial number of students who passed the test during pre-test was 8 students, and then 32 students passed the minimum score of 75 after group work is applied.
