lecturer answered no for the topics number 1 and 3 see Table 4.8. Here, the instructions in the designed exercises were not clear and understandable. Besides,
the designed exercises were not in accordance with the indicators because some indicators were incorrect.
On the other hand, the fifth and the sixth topics see Table 4.8 were not answered by him. The reason for number five was because he was not convinced
whether or not the designed exercises were effective and efficient to be implemented for the students in order to improve their grammatical skill. Next,
the reason for number six was he was confused about the question. In his opinion, it must be correct that the designed exercises practice the structure correctly and
convey a meaning on every sentence. Nevertheless, he answered yes for the rest of the questions on the evaluation sheet.
On the open question, he stated first, the strengths of the product were it has interesting topics, variety of topics, and interesting alternative of structure
exercises. Second, the weaknesses of the product were some indicators were incorrect and there were not so effectiveefficient instruction. Next, he did not
give suggestion to improve the designed exercises explicitly. However, the writer still revised the evaluation result in order to be more valid as supplementary
exercises.
5. Main Product Revision
The product was revised as suggested by the preliminary field-test results after conducting the content evaluation from the practitioner and the experts. The

writer revised the designed exercises in order to improve the designed product. However, there were some suggestions, on the next two paragraphs, from the
students that were not accommodated by the writer. The elaboration on this paragraph would focus on the appearance of the
product. The first suggestion was about the appearance of the designed exercises. It was providing more pictures, music, and videos so that it would be more
interesting. The second suggestion was it would be better if the video was not from pictures, only, but it was made from short film. Besides, they stated that it
would be better if the exercises used more varied colour. The reason why the writer did not accommodate those suggestions was because there was limited time
to design the product. The third suggestion was they stated that the short reading and the exercises should be separated, so the exercises would be clearer. The
writer’s reason for not being revised was Hot Potatoes software had set the appearance just as the appearance of the additional reading information on the
designed exercises. Next, this following paragraph would focus on the content on the
exercises. There were seven aspects related to the content’s suggestion. First, the students stated that it would be better if the writer provided more varied exercises
and topics. Second, the writer should add another topic in order to make it more fun and to motivate them in doing it. The writer’s reason for not being revised
from those two aspects was because of the limited time in designing the product. Third, they stated that it should use simpler words. Here, the writer had tried to
use the simplest words. Fourth, it would be better to lower the duration for doing

the exercises. The duration was calculated wisely so that in 45 minutes they could finish the exercises on each unit. Fifth, the writer should provide clearer
sentences. Remarkably, the writer had provided clear sentences. Sixth, it would be better if the exercises were provided with some topics that are close to their
teenage life, such as entertainment or sport. The writer had tried to design exercises by using the topics that are close to their life, so they would find it easy
to absorb the main idea that was learning simple present tense and simple past tense. Seventh, they suggested that the writer should always update the exercises
so that it was not boring. This aspect could be conducted by future researcher. Eventually, the next following paragraphs would elaborate some
suggestions accommodated by the writer in order to revise and improve the product. By considering the suggestions from all evaluators, the writer had revised
the appearance and the content of the product, on the next page. a. The appearance of the product
First, the writer had changed the background colour of all pages so that the exercises would be more readable. Second, she had enlarged the font size of the
exercises. Third, she had rewritten the instructions on each exercise so that it would be easier to be understood by the users. Fourth, there were some pictures
added into the exercises. Fifth, the font of the topics on the main menu on each unit was changed, so it would be more interesting.

b. The content of the product First, the writer revised some topics and then decided the learning
objectives on each topic. The topics that the writer changed were Fruits, Some Interesting Places, and People around Me. The revision can be seen in Table 4.9.

writer also added some new topics on the designed exercises, namely Describing Things, Describing Activities, and Signs. After the writer revised the designed
exercises, she checked the grammar accuracy of it. The final revision of the topics and the titles can be seen in Table 4.10.
