improvement. They did not only concern on the surface errors of writing such as punctuation marks, tenses, capitalization and so on but also they put focus on the content aspect. On the contrary, the second semester students concern more on the surface errors of the writing. They concern more on correcting the incorrect grammars, punctuations, spellings, and others related to the mechanic and language use. Most of main corrections made by second semester students on their peers’ writing involved the corrections on grammatical and orthographic errors. They seemed confused in giving comments related to the content and writing’s organization. Their comment on the writing’s content and organization were not detailed enough. The second semester students’ feedback focused on the writing’s form while the fourth semester students concern on writing’ content and writing’s form.

B. Recommendation

After conducting the study, the researcher proposes some recommendations for the English teachers and the students of English Education Study Program. 1 For the English Teachers In writing class, the teachers are suggested to encourage peer feedback activity. It is also hoped that teachers will develop the implementation of cooperative learning activities among students in enhancing their learning achievement as well as in creating teaching learning process become more interesting. Teachers also should promote class discussion and encourage the students to ask questions about the feedback that their peers give to them so it encourages the students’ critical thinking skill 2 For the Students The students should be proactive in doing peer feedback activity. They should be proactive in giving feedback for their friends’ writing and revising their own writing. Besides, the students should keep on practicing writing a composition so it can help them to improve their writing skill.
