Pandanus spinistigmaticus differs from P. multifurcatus by one character state, tertiary cross vein not visible. DISTRIBUTION: West Java to Central Java. HABITAT ECOLOGY: Pandanus nitidus is one of species occupying wider ecological spectrum from 1 to 1000 m above sea level. Some are found at littoral area in barringtonia association, but mostly found growing on lowland and hill forest area, and never found in lower montane forest, flowering and fruiting in June to December.
