ABSTRAK
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh urbanisasi terhadap transformasi struktur ekonomi di kabupaten deli serdang selama kurun waktu 23
tahun yaitu tahun 1990 – 2012. Adapun variabel bebas yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah PDRB harga berlaku pada sektor industri, penyerapan tenaga
kerja sektor industri dan Indeks Pembangunan Manusia. Metode yang digunakan dalam analisa pengaruh urbanisasi terhadap transformasi struktur ekonomi di
kabupaten deli serdang adalah ordinanary least square OLS dengan menggunakan alat analisi untuk mengolah data yaitu dengan menggunakan
eviews 5.0. Berdasarkan hasil estimasi menunjukkan bahwa variabel transformasi struktru ekonomi tersebut masing – masing mempunyai pengaruh yang positif
terhadap Tingkat Urbanisasi di Deli Serdang dan masing – masing signifikan secara statistik pada α = 1 dan α = 10.

ABSTACT
The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of urbanization on the transformation of the economic structure in Deli Serdang district for a period of
23 years ie years 1990-2012. The independent variables used in this study is the GDP at current prices in the industrial sector, industrial sector employment and
the Human Development Index. The method used in the analysis of the influence of urbanization on the transformation of the economic structure in Deli Serdang is
ordinanary least squares OLS using analysis tools to process data by using eviews 5.0. Based on the estimation results indicate that the variable
transformation of the economic struktru respectively - each have a positive influence on the level of urbanization in Deli Serdang and respectively - each
