2. 5. ACADEMIC LEAVE
Student who wishes to be away from hisher
academic endeavors at FTUI f or one t o t wo semest ers, but int end t o ret urn t o FTUI are
eligible f or academic leave of absence. Leave of absence could be only given t o st udent who
has st udied at least t wo semest ers at FTUI,
unless with speciic circumtances.

and may graduat e and earn a degree in engi-
neering based on the Department Faculty

2. 7. SEMESTER GRADE TRANSCRIPT, DIPLOMA and ACADEMIC
TRANSCRIPTS
FTUI Central Administration Ofice is respon

sible for issuing Semester Grade Transcript, Diploma and Academic Transcript for all
FTUI’s graduates. Student Academic History is
issued based on st udent ’ s request while t he
diploma and academic transcripts are issued
only once at t he t ime of t he st udent ’ s gradua-
tion. Contained within the Student Academic History and Academic Transcript are name,
course code and grades of all courses t hat t he
students took during their study period. Also included is the student’s Grade Point Average
GPA which is calculated based on all courses’ grades. Diplomas and Academic Transcripts
will be handed t o all graduat es no lat er t han
2 two months from the date of graduation.
