A. Let’s Get Ready
Put a thick √ for the names of the days
Ask the students to put a thick to the names of the days. Check the answers by asking some students to read the words they have
chosen.
The answers are the same with 7 days in a week. Tell the students that the topic for today deals with days. Say “We will learn
about days, months and numbers”
Look at the pictures, listen to your teacher and repeat after your teacher
Ask the students to mention days in a week. Explain there are 7 days in a week, 12 months in a year.
Give the students examples to pronounce the days in a week and months in a year.
Ask the students to repeat after you. Notes: If you can sing “Naik-Naik Ke Puncak Gunung”, sing the song but
change the lyrics with the names of the days. The order is: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
Ask the students to sing the song together with you. Secondly, ask them to look at their books and pay attention to singular and
plural forms.
Explain about the singular and plural forms. Give the students examples in reading the dialogs.
Divide the class into two groups and ask them to read aloud the dialogs.

Make a big circle and listen to your teacher’s explanations. Let’s play “whisper game”.
Ask the students to make a big circle. Stand in the middle of the circle.
Explain the rules of the game: 1.
The students should make a group of 8. There will be 4 groups in the class.
2. The students will stand in a line.
3. The student who stands at the back will read a sentence and whisper to the
student in front of himher until the first student in front of the line.
4. The fastest group should raise hisher hand and read aloud the sentence for
the first time and got 10 points.
5. There are 5 sentences to read.
Divide the class into 4 groups. Ask them to make a line facing the whiteboard.
Give the last person pieces of papers contained the sentences. Say “start” and the last student in the line begin to whisper the sentence.
