A. Let’s Get Ready
Circle your favorite fruit based on the pictures.
Ask the students to work individually, pay attention to the pictures of fruits and circle the fruits that they like most. It aims at knowing their background
knowledge of the topic.
Check their answer by asking 4-5 students to say which fruits they choose. If there is a student who doesn’t knows the name of the fruits, ask himher to
show which pictures heshe circles.
Say “What will we study today?” and wait for their respond. If there is no student who responds, say “we will study about fruits”.
Ask them to mention again all the name of fruits they know based on the pictures provided. Ask “What is this?”
Look at the pictures, listen to your teacher and repeat after your teacher
Explain there are many kinds of fruits. Ask them “how many fruits do you know?”
Give the students examples to pronounce the names of fruits and mime the taste of the fruits sweet and sour.
Ask them “how many colors do you know?” Ask them to listen to you.
Read the column in order and ask them to repeat after you. Example:
1. What fruit is this? A: This is a melon 2. What is the taste of a melon? A: The taste is sweet

Continue reading and give sometimes for the students to answer your questions.
Give the students examples in reading the dialogs. Divide the class into two groups and ask them to read aloud the dialogs.
