2. Some instructions were too long and complicated. It made students felt difficult to understand the tasks. The writer should make those instructions
shorter. 3. The indicators were too general. The writer should specify and add more
indicators. The writer also should consider and revise the formulation of the basic competence and learning experiences.
4. The illustrations were good but there were several small and unclear pictures. The writer should make those pictures clearer.
5. There was too difficult exercise on page 18 where students should describe their own appearance. The writer should change the instruction.
2. Final Product Revision
After evaluating the designed materials, the writer revised the designed materials. The revision of the designed materials was based on the respondents’
comment, suggestion and feedback. The writer adopted four of suggestions and comments. The revisions are as follows:
a. The writer changed the title of unit 5 ”It is Five o’clock, Mom” into “What
Time Is It?”. b. The writer changed or revised some instructions that were too long and
complicated. c. The writer specified the indicators and added some indicators. The writer also
re-formulated the basic competences and learning experiences. d. The writer revised some unclear pictures.

However, one suggestion was not accepted because the writer considered that exercise on page 18 where the students were asked to describe their own
appearance was an important activity. The activity was stated as one of indicators of wiring skill to achieve the standard competence, and basic competence.
C. The Designed Materials
The designed materials consisted of eight units. Each unit was divided into three parts, namely Start to Think, What Should You Do? and Do it Again. Start to
Think was the pre-activity to create students’ interest, activate students’ prior
knowledge and introduce students with the topic. What Should You Do? was the main activity where students did various tasks of listening, speaking, reading and
writing. The students also experienced tasks and activities that could activate and developed various multiple intelligences. Do it Again was the post activity to
review the materials that the students had already learned. In this part the students were provided with simple and entertaining activities. Each unit allocated 180
minutes. Unit 1 was My Eyes..My Nose and My Hands. It discussed about parts of body. This unit developed Linguistic, Kinesthetic, Spatial, Intrapersonal, and
Musical Intelligence. Unit 2 was I Feel Happy Today. It discussed about kinds of feeling. This unit developed Linguistic, Spatial, Kinesthetic, Interpersonal,
Intrapersonal, Mathematic, and Musical Intelligence. Unit 3 was Mario and Bagas are My Brothers
. It discussed about family. This unit developed Linguistic, Interpersonal, Spatial, and Intrapersonal Intelligence. Unit 4 was She has Long
Hair . It discussed about people’s description. This unit developed Linguistic,
Spatial, Mathematic, and Intrapersonal Intelligence. Unit 5 was What Time is it?. It discussed about time. This unit developed Linguistic, Spatial, Mathematic,
