What are the characteristics of the fifth grade students of Kanisius Kalasan Elementary school?  The students were less focused on the teacher and lessons.  Most of them were lazy.  Most of them were difficult to be handled.  They were active many movements and talking. 2. What strategies techniques do you usually use to teach English extracurricular activity? Mostly the teacher used traditional technique that was explanation because the teacher would be easier to handle the students. Sometimes the teacher also asked the students to do drama or role play. 3. What problems are faced by the students in learning English as extracurricular activity?  The students’ willingness to learn was very low.  The teacher gave monotonous techniques and activities in teaching learning activities. 4. In your opinion, do the students need interesting activities in learning English as extracurricular activity? Yes 5. What media are used in teaching English?  Tape recorder  TV 6.
