1. For the Lecturers of LLA

The writer suggests for the lecturers who are in charge of LLA subject to help the students understand more about the importance of content validity in their assessment. As stated before that the content of the assessment should be valid since the assessment is purposed at obtaining valid information about the students’ progress and mastery. The students should have clear understanding why the assessment should be valid especially in its content because the content becomes the basis for the overall instructional process. PLAGIAT MERUPAKAN TINDAKAN TIDAK TERPUJI PLAGIAT MERUPAKAN TINDAKAN TIDAK TERPUJI 75 The lecturers could also prepare the instruction which facilitates the students to practice producing well and appropriate assessment which is valid and reliable. The students should be given more opportunities to practice producing valid assessment and to think more critically about the assessment they make. It will be better for the students as the prospective teachers to know about the important and crucial functions of assessment which are not merely purposed to give the students score.

2. For the Practice Teaching Students of ELESP and the Teacher

Candidates As they are supposed to be teachers in the future, the students of ELESP in general can hopefully learn from this study about the basic concept of assessment as an integral part of teaching and learning activity. The students should keep in their mind that the assessment is not merely purposed to give score for the students but the assessment can be used as useful medium to improve their teaching later. Hopefully, the students can also learn about how to establish an assessment which possesses high content validity as one and considerably the most importance features of the assessment. Having the knowledge about the problems which influence the degree of validity of an assessment and the possible recommendation to overcome the problems, the students are intended to at least avoid sources of invalidity in their assessments later. Thinking more critical and updating the knowledge about the assessments will be helpful to increase their assessments’ quality. The writer PLAGIAT MERUPAKAN TINDAKAN TIDAK TERPUJI PLAGIAT MERUPAKAN TINDAKAN TIDAK TERPUJI 76 hopes that the students can appropriately use the assessments as what the assessments are purposed for and they can produce high quality assessments which do not only focus on its validity but also focus on the other aspects of the sound assessments.
