The designed teaching strategies were well-designed and acceptable
For the open-ended questions, the data were analyzed in the form of narrative description. It presented the data about the teacher’s opinions and
comments toward the designed teaching strategies. Finally, some revisions and improvement toward the designed teaching strategies could be made on the basis
of the results from the teaching strategies evaluation. In addition, from the preliminary Field Testing, it could gain the data
about the participants’ educational background. The description of the participants was presented in the following table:

F. Research Procedure
In conducting this research, I followed some steps. Those were: 1.
Research and Information Gathering a.
Conducting an interview to the English teacher who teaches grade X students of SMA Negeri 11 Yogyakarta.
b. Finding the theories related to the study
c. Finding the information about School-Based Curriculum as the current
curriculum. 2.
Planning a.
Deciding the goals, topic and general purposes of the design b.
Deciding the learning objectives c.
Selecting teaching learning activities 3.
Developing Preliminary Form of Product a.
Making a rough draft of the design teaching strategies based on the assembled information in the preceding step
b. Designing teaching strategies which is completed with the materials
4. Preliminary Field Testing
a. Distributing the proposed teaching strategies design along with
distributing questionnaire to the English teachers and to the lecturer to conduct expert verification.
b. Analyzing the evaluation and the suggestion.
