A. Let’s Begin

Answer the question below Ask the students to mention their favorite fruits as the introduction to the topic about fruits. Look at the pictures, listen to the teacher’s explanation and repeat after your teacher Explain about some fruits in English by asking the students to look at pictures of some fruits in the students’ book. Give the students examples how to pronounce some fruits in English and repeated by the students.

B. Let’s Practice

Look at the plastic toys of fruits that are on the table and answer the question below Ask the students to make a group of four. Bring at least five kinds of plastic toys of fruits, and then put it into a bag. After that, put all plastics toys of fruits in the table in front of the class. The fruits are that have been explained in the “let’s begin” section Ask the students to memorize the fruits for 30 seconds up to one minute. Put the plastic toys back into the bag. Ask the students to write down at least four kinds of fruits that are on the table in English in a group of four. Ask one representative of each group to come in front of the class to write down the answer in the black board. Check the answers of each group on the blackboard. 115

C. Let’s Finish the Lesson Match

Ask the students to match the pictures with the name of the fruits individually. The answer for match task 1. Apple 2. Bananas 3. Watermelon 4. Avocado 5. Mango 6. Oranges 7. Pineapple Check the answer by asking all the students to read aloud their answer. Review: Quick and Smart Make a review by playing quick and smart Ask the students to work in pairs. Give the students some questions about the topic today Remember that the students have to answer in the English words. Choose the fastest group which raises their hand to answer the questions. The words for quick and smart it is fine not to use all the words or even add some others words depend on the time left: Buah : Fruit Apel : Apple Nanas : Pineapple Pisang : Banana Semangka : Watermelon Jeruk : Orange Anggur : Grapes Mangga : Mango Provide presents for the pairs who answer the questions correctly. Snakes and Fruits Ask the students to play the game in pairs. Prepare for some dices and small plastic toys for the students.
