ABSTRAK
Perawat pelaksana yang bekerja di RSU Mitra sejati Medan memilki komitmen organisasi yang kuat berdasarkan pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala ruangan yang efektif. Tujuan dari penelitian
ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh efektivitas kepemimpinan kepala ruangan dan komitmen organisasi perawat pelaksana di RSU Mitra Sejati Medan. Rancangan penelitian
menggunakan metode deskriptif korelasional. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 80 orang yaitu perawat pelaksana dengan menggunakan tekhnik total sampling.Instrumen penelitian
terdiri dari kuesioner efektivitas kepemimimpinan untuk mengukur efektifitas kepemimpinan kepala ruangan dan komitmen organisasi untuk mengukur komitmen organisasi perawat
pelaksana memiliki konsistensi internal alpha cronbach 0,86 Analisa korelasi yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan rumus chi-square. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa 70 efektivitas
kepemimpinan kepala ruangan efektif dan 10 menunjukan efektivitas kepemimpinankepala ruangan tidak efektif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan adanya pengaruh antara efektivitas
kepemimpinan kepala ruangan dengan komitmen organisasi perawat pelaksana. Untuk peneliti selanjutnya disarankan untuk meneliti tentang gambaran efektivitas kepemimpinan dengan
komitmen organisasi. Kata kunci: efektivitas kepemimpinan ,kepala ruangan, komitmen organisasi.

Nurses working in general hospital of Mitra Sejati have a strong organizational commitment because of the effect of an effective leadership of the head room . The purpose of this study is
to analyze the differences of the leadership commitment effectiveness of the head room to the organization in general hospital of Mitra Sejati . The research uses a descriptive correlation
method. The number of samples in this study is 80 nurses. It uses total sampling techniques. The research instrument consisted of questionnaire to measure the leadership effectiveness of the
head room and the organizational commitment to measure the commitment of nurse organization which has internal consistency Cronbach alpha 0.86. Correlation analysis used is
using the chi-square formula. The results of the analysis showed that 70 effectiveness of leadership of the head room is effective and 10 showed it is not effective. The results of the
study showed no difference between organizational commitment of nurses and the leadership effectiveness of r nurse head room. For further research it is recommended to examine the
picture of the effectiveness of leadership and organizational commitment.
