3. Let’s Practice
This section aimed to measure the students’ comprehension of the topic by providing exercises. Besides, it is also to review the materials given in each unit.
This section provides reading text and its exercises which can be found in each
unit. The activities in Let’s Practice are reading text, answering the questions that
follow, completing the story, interviewing, making report, taking message, listening to the song and retelling, presenting a poster, giving opinion, presenting
an instrument, and role playing. This third section also deals with the group game activities such as in Unit 1 and Unit 3. The group game activities are aimed to
improve the students’ understanding about the related topic being discussed because the games used are based on the topic. This activity is also aimed to make
the learning process fun and interesting. It also facilitates the students to interact actively with others in English through group games. The examples of activities
which can be found in Let’s Practice are:
• Read the text carefully and give your opinion. • Work in a group of three. Answer the questions and discuss your ideas with
your partner.
In addition, Let’s Practice provides activities that help students to review
the materials discussed in each unit. The activities can be either written or spoken. The review can be found in each unit of the designed materials as the last

activities in each unit. The activities that are provided in the review are in the form of: games as in Unit 1, leaving and taking messages as in Unit 2, telling the
past activities to others as in Unit 3, presenting poster about students’ dream job as in Unit 4, making a short paragraph on giving opinion as in Unit 5, presenting
how an instrument works and its function as in Unit 6, and giving invitation as in Unit 7. The examples of activities which can be found in the review are:
• Find an instrument that you find in the hotel. Then present it in front of the class and explain its function and how the instrument works.
• Tell your friends about yesterday’s activities. These questions may help you. The detailed and completed version of the designed materials can be seen
in Appendix I.

CHAPTER V CONCLUSIONS AND SUGESTIONS
This chapter consists of two parts. The first part is for the conclusion of this study. The second part provides suggestions for the English instructors who
would apply the designed materials and also for other researchers who would like to conduct the same type of research.
A. Conclusions
This study aimed to design a set of integrated English materials for grade eleventh students of Hotel Accommodation Department of SMK N I Kalasan.
There were two problems in this study. Those problems were 1 how are a set of integrated English materials for grade eleventh students of Hotel Accommodation
Department of SMK N I Kalasan designed? and 2 what does the designed set of integrated English materials for grade eleventh students of Hotel Accommodation
Department of SMK N I Kalasan look like? In the study, the writer employed Research and Development R D
method. R D which consists of ten steps, but the writer only employed step 1 up to step 5. Those steps are 1 research and information collecting, 2 planning, 3
develop preliminary form of product, 4 preliminary field-testing, and 5 main product revision.
In order to answer the first problem, the writer adapted Kemp’s and Yalden’s instructional model. The writer adapted these two models to design the
