Dalam LKS Bahasa Meringis ini, hampir tidak ada referensi sama sekali, namun bila jika diamati isi LKS ini berasal dari BSE English Fokus For Grade VII, Junior High School (SMP/MTs) , dan bila dibandingkan, maka banyak sekali kesamaannya (kalau boleh dibilang 100% copy paste) dan kadang nama subyeknya diganti, misalnya Robert diganti dengan Doni, sedangkan isi dialognya tetap tidak ada perubahan.
