1. To English teachers
With regard to the effectiveness of the implementation of using alternative rock songs in teaching speaking which
can improve the students‘ speaking skill, it is suggested that the English teachers can apply as the
researcher did. As music needs a lot of preparation, the English teachers are suggested to find interesting and appropriate songs for the students if they are
going to use it in order to attract the students‘ interest and involvement in the teaching and learning process of speaking.
2. To the Students
The implementations of using alternative rock songs as a speaking method are useful and important to improve th
e students‘ speaking skill. And also, the students become more interested to speak English. This suggests
students use music as side activity in their learning process.

To other Researchers
The researcher realizes that this research gives an emphasis on the use of alternative rock songs to improve the students‘ speaking skill. The findings of
the research may be used as references for other researchers who want to
conduct similar research.
