F. Research Procedure
To find out the answers to the problems, the following procedures were carried out on this research.
1. Conducting Library Research
Conducting library research was aimed to gain any literature required by the researcher. It was conducted several times before the researcher decided to
conduct the observation.
2. Constructing the Observation Checklist
After obtaining the literature required, the researcher constructed the observation checklist. It was aimed to focus and limit the observation. Meanwhile,
the observation checklist consisted of two parts: close-ended and open-ended.
3. Constructing the Questionnaire
Constructing the questionnaire was conducted after the researcher constructed the observation checklist. The questionnaire was the same as
observation checklist in its content. It was aimed to obtain the same discussion as in the observation checklist.
4. Constructing the Guiding Questions for Interview
The guiding questions for interview were constructed in order to clarify the different data gained from the observation checklist and questionnaire. In
addition, it would help the researcher to find out the reasons for the different data.
5. Asking for Permission from Respondents
Permission from the respondents was required in order to conduct the research. The permission was obtained by asking the respondents one by one. In
36 addition, it was aimed to make sure that the researcher would not disturb the
respondents’ teaching practice. Therefore, asking permission from the respondents was aimed to get the cooperation from the respondents.
6. Asking for Permission from the Lecturers whose Students were Observed
In order not to disturb the lecturers in evaluating and scoring the respondents’ teaching practice, the permission from the lecturers was required.
The permission was requested by making permission letters. Therefore, the researcher asked for permission from the lecturers whose student teachers were
observed.
7. Conducting the Observation
