Penentuan besaran ruang didasarkan pada pertimbangan:

a) Analisa kegiatan dan wadah perencanaan ruang yang dijabarkan pada babIV

b) Ukuran/besaran ruang berdasar pada standar perhitungan:

1. Neufert Architect Data (NAD)

2. Time Saver Standart for Building (TSS)

3. Conference, Convention, and Exhibition Facilities (CCEF)

4. Site Planning Standarts (SPS)

5. Design Standarts for Children Environments (DSCE)

6. Human Dimension and Interior (HDI)

7. Architectural Hand Book (AH)

8. Asumsi (A) Adapun perhitungan besaran ruang tersebut berhubungan dengan:

a) Luasan unit fungsi/standard

b) Ruang gerak manusia

c) Dimensi manusia

d) Peralatan standart yang digunakan

Jarak pengawasan orang tua ke anak: a) Usia 0-2 tahun: 0-2 meter

b) Usia 3-5 tahun: 2-5 meter c) Usia 6-8 tahun: 10 meter ke atas

Setiap aktifitas membutuhkan adanya space untuk pergerakan (flow), besarnya flow tergantung oleh tingkat kenyamanan dan jenis kegiatan. Penentuan angka flow berdasarkan Data Arsitek: (Ernst Neufert,

(1996), Data Arsitek, Erlangga, Jakarta)

5 – 10% = standard flow gerak minimum 20%

= kebutuhan keleluasaan gerak

= tuntutan kenyamanan fisik

= tuntutan kenyamanan psikis

Studio (semi publik) dengan pertimbangan kemudahan pencapaiannya maka zona studio diletakkan pada lantai 1 dan 2, bersamaan dengan zona publik lain (termasuk didalamnya area edukasi rekreatif), zona semi privat dan privat diletakkan diatas lantai 2. Sedangkan untuk zona servis seperti kegiatan mekanikal elektrikal dan parkir dikelompokkan di basement. Lahan digunakan zona peruntukan fasilitas anak, zona parkir dan publik pertunjukan seperti amphiteater, dan terutama dioptimalkan untuk landscape.
