10. Theme J: Bali Police Probe Alleged Tourist Extortion
Bali Police’s move to probe the alleged extortion of money from foreign tourists at Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar, did not seem to interest
the readers that much. The researcher found out only 3 texts in this theme.

It is found only two speech act categories in the theme. Those are 2 assertive and 2 directive categories. The typical characteristic of TYS column in the theme is
that the text writers only use two categories, assertive and directive categories. Moreover, both appear with same point. The text writers clearly prefer to commit
themselves to the truth of the proposition and want other people to do an action. They support
Bali Police’s to investigate the alleged extortion of money. So, this case will not happen again in the future. The researcher provides the example of

It is clear that the text writer wants other people to do the action. Therefore, the text writer shows his directive category.
11. Theme K: Police Investigate Bali Airport Extortion
There had been case of alleged extortion of money from foreign tourists at Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar, Bali. As a response, Bali Police
investigated the case. The researcher found out only 3 texts in this theme.
