writers invite themselves and other people to make commitment. The text writers together with other people carry out some action in the future for better things.
As the result, assertive is the most frequently employed speech act category in all themes. The text writers prefer to give statement, explanation, clarification,
expectation, and prediction about the issue than ask the others to do something or express their feeling. It is used to convey the deeper information and convince the
reader to believe the truth or what they say.

From Table 4.18, it can be seen the percentage of the speech act categories in all themes. Assertive category is in the first position with 50.52. Then, the
second position is directive category with 25.77. Almost equal with directive category, expressive category gets 21.13 as the third position. The last position is
commissive category. The percentage is 2.58.

CHAPTER V CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
This chapter presents research conclusions and recommendations. The first part presents the answers of two research questions. In the second part, the
researcher presents the recommendations related to the future researchers, the lecturers, and the students.
A. Conclusions
Based on the analysis, the researcher finds out two major conclusions of the research. First, the researcher concludes that the readers use four of five speech act
categories in TYS column. Those are assertive, commissive, directive, and expressive categories. The researcher does not find out declarative category.
In assertive category, the text writers want to convey the information. They also convince the other people to believe what they say. Then, in directive category,
the text writers want other people to do an action through the text. In the last, the text writers express their feeling and emotion toward the issue in expressive
category. Second, the researcher concludes that assertive category is the most
frequently employed speech act category in TYS column. It is followed by directive category in the second position and expressive category in the third position. In this
case, the text writers prefer to convey the information than ask the others to do an action or express their feeling or emotion. Moreover, the characteristic of TYS
