Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan index of fit, selang waktu antar kerusakan pada komponen gear coupling adalah berdistribusi lognormal. Perhitungan MTTF
dapat dilakukan secara manual dan dengan bantuan software. Hasil perhitungan secara manual dapat dilihat pada Tabel 5.17.
