treatments that the researcher would give to the students during the action research cycles. There were seven students in this eighth grade of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Junior High School. Each student was given for about 15 minutes to fill in the questionnaire. The students looked seriously when they answered the questionnaire. Below was the explanation and the interpretation of the students’ need analysis questionnaire. They indicated that the students strongly disagreed with the statements. From the values, it could be concluded that the students’ speaking skill needed to be improved. They indicated that the students disagreed with the statement. From the values, it could be concluded that the students’ speaking skill needed to be improved.
