F. Data Collection Instruments
In collecting the data, the questionnaires were distributed to the students and a materials expert. There were two types of questionnaire used in this
research. Those were the needs analysis questionnaire and expert judgment questionnaire. The organization of the questionnaires was elaborated through the
tables below.
1. Needs analysis questionnaire
The need analysis questionnaire was distributed to find out the target needs and the learning needs of the Grade X students of Beauty Study
Program at SMK N 3 Magelang. In developing the needs analysis questionnaire, this study referred to the theory of needs assessment proposed
by Hutchinson and Waters 1987, Graves, and Nunan 2004.
