1. The Teacher Personal Efficacy Level of the Microteaching Students

Teacher personal efficacy is the belief of a teacher on the teaching skills she possesses. The teaching skills put into account were based on the skills presented in Buku Pedoman Pengajaran Mikro.

a. Findings

The responses on each item were presented below as the result of the questionnaire distribution to the students. The data were presented in two ways: per teaching skill and complete skills. However, the data were next divided into two: the participants who were motivated to be teacher and who were not motivated to be teacher. The data of the participants who arenot motivated to be teacher were presented as following: Figure 3 The students who were and not motivated As seen in Figure 3, there were 64.29 of the participants who were motivated to be teacher. Meanwhile, 23.21 of the participants were not motivated to be teacher; whereas, 11.61 of the participants did not state whether

1. Teaching Skill: “Open the lesson with proper expressions”

a. Students who were motivated to be teacher

55.56 of the participants motivated to be teacher were in average level of teacher personal efficacy for the skill “Open the lesson with proper expressions.” Meanwhile 43.06 of them were in high teacher personal efficacy. However, 1, 39 of the participants were in Low teacher personal efficacy for the skill.

b. Students who were not motivated to be teacher

Most of the participants 69.23 who were not motivated to be teacher were in average level of teacher personal efficacy. 19.23 of the participants were in high teacher personal efficacy, whereas 11.54 of the participants were in low teacher personal efficacy for the first teaching skill.

2. Teaching Skill: “Attract students’ attention to involve in learning”

a. Students who were motivated to be teacher

For the second teaching skill, “Attract students’ attention to involve in learning,” 48.61 of the participants who were motivated to be teacher were in average level of teacher personal efficacy, whereas 25 of the participants were in high teacher personal efficacy.
