obviously the teaching practice, thus the self-efficacy generated in Microteaching is self-efficacy on teaching. The self-efficacy is defined as teacher personal
efficacy. It means that the personal belief of the teacher on his teaching skills that can affect learners’ achievement Alderman, 2001. On the other words,
Microteaching can help the students to generate their ‘teacher personal efficacy’. Below are the results of the research on the students’ level of efficacy.
1. The Students’ teacher personal efficacy Level is Mostly in Average
Level
There were 90.82 of the total participants who had the average efficacy level. The average efficacy level’s point is ranging from 50-79. There were 8.16
of the total participants who had high efficacy level. The level is ranging from 80- 100. And there was only 1 one participant 1.02 who had low efficacy level.
2. The Students Possess Better Efficacy on Certain Teaching Skills
On certain skills, the students had better efficacy. Those skills were: a.
Vary learning media There were 46.94 of the total participants who had the high efficacy level 80-
100 for the skill. And the others had the average efficacy level 50-79. b.
Summarize the learning material More than a half of the total participants 54.08 who had the high efficacy level
80-100 for the skill. And the others had the average efficacy level 50-79.
