76 the respondents agreed and 10 of the respondents strongly agreed that the
respondents were not interested in uploading the group video project in YouTube. Totally, there were 70 of the respondents who were interested in uploading the
group video project in YouTube and there were 30 of the respondents who were not interested in uploading the group video project in YouTube. It was clearly that
most all of the respondents were interested in uploading the group video project in YouTube. The result showed that the respondents were satisfied in uploading their
group video project in YouTube. The respondents interested in uploading others group video project related to the use of English in speaking later on.
The conclusion of the first research question relate d to the students’
perception on the use of group video in speaking practice based on the results of the research, the respondents had positive perception toward the use of group
video in speaking practice. The respondents believed that through group video project, their speaking skills had the improvements. The respondents wanted to
practice speaking English more often after creating a group video. The respondents were more confident to speak English and the respondents were also
motivated to practice speaking English. Although the respondents found difficulties in uploading the video project in YouTube, especially in getting the
internet connection, the respondents believed that group video project was an interesting way to practice speaking English.
2. Students’ Perception on the Implementation of Group Video
This part answered the second research question. The research was to find out the
students’ perception on the implementation of group video. In order to

the students’ perception on the implementation of group video, the researcher employed data from close-ended questionnaire, open-ended questionnaire,
observation, and also from the interview. According to the theory of Sherman 2003, as a teaching and learning
media, video also brings motivation to the students thus the students are able to understand and enjoy the real things. The respondents experienced the real
learning to practice speaking English using group video project. The further explanation would be discussed as follows.
The mean in this category was 3.0, it meant that it was in the positive category. The respondents responded positively toward the implementation of
group video in speaking practice. The detailed explanation of each statement will be discussed in the following table.

Table 4.6 presented the result of percentage distribution of the implementation of group video in speaking practice. The table showed the
percentage distribution of each statement, statement number thirty three until
78 statement number thirty nine. Statement number thirty three resulted 13.33 of
the total respondents strongly disagreed and 13.33 of the total respondents disagreed that through creating group video project the respondents had more time
to practice speaking English. Meanwhile, 63.33 of the total respondents agreed and 10 of the total respondents strongly agreed that through creating group
video project the respondents had more time to practice speaking English. Totally, 26.66 of the respondents disagreed with the statement and 73.33 of the
respondents agreed with the statement. It was clear that through creating group video project the respondents had more time to practice speaking English. The
respondents commonly did not have particular time to practice speaking. The respondents as second grader students in junior high school, only used English in
the classroom while learning English subject. It made the respondents did not practice to use English outside learning English in the classroom. Through
creating this group video project, the respondents had more time to practice speaking English, thus the respondents had additional time to practice speaking
English outside the classroom. The result of statement number thirty four presented none of the
respondents strongly disagreed and only 13.33 of the respondents disagreed that through creating group video project the respondents always practiced speaking
English repeatedly. 63.33 of the respondents agreed and 23.33 of the respondents strongly agreed that through creating group video project the
respondents always practiced speaking English repeatedly. There were only 13.33 of the total respondents who disagreed with the statement and there were
79 86.66 of the total respondents who agreed with the statement. The respondents
agreed that they always practiced speaking English repeatedly through group video project. It could train the respondents in practicing speaking English,
therefore the respondents were familiar in using English in speaking. Statement number thirty five presented the result 6.67 of the
respondents strongly disagreed and 13.33 of the respondents disagreed that the respondents had willingness to speak English in that group video project. There
were 66.67 of the respondents agreed and 13.33 of the respondents strongly agreed that the respondents had willingness to speak English in that group video
project. Totally, there were 20 of the respondents did not had willingness to speak English in that group video project and 80 of the respondents had
willingness to speak English in that group video project. Through making group video project, the respondents have willingness to speak English. It was good
because if the respondents had willingness to speak English by themselves, the respondents would be easier in speaking English later on. By having the
willingness to speak English, the respondents also realized that to be better to speak English the respondents should practice speaking English more often.
The result of statement number thirty six presented only 3.33 of the respondents strongly disagreed and 23.33 of the respondents disagreed that the
respondents could speak English with free expression in that group video project. Meanwhile, 53.33 of the respondents agreed and 20 of the respondents
strongly agreed that the respondents could speak English freely through that group video project. 26.66 of the total respondents disagreed with the statement and
80 73.33 of the total respondents agreed with the statement. The respondents could
express themselves to speak English through the group video project. The respondents knew what kind of expressions that the respondents needed in their
conversation on the group video project. It made the respondents enjoyed speaking using English language because the respondents might express their own
expressions. Statement number thirty seven resulted only 3.33 of the respondents
strongly disagreed and 3.33 of the respondents disagreed that the respondents knew in what part of their speech which was needed to be improved in the process
of creating group video. There were 73.33 of the respondents agreed and 20 of the respondents strongly agreed that the respondents knew in what part of their
speech which was needed to be improved in the process of making group video. The total respondents who disagreed with the statement were only 6.66 of the
respondents and the total respondents who agreed with the statement were 93.33 of the respondents. In the process of creating group video project, the respondents
always repeated their speeches in order to get the best result of their works. Thus, it helped the respondents to know the correct words in English and also the correct
arrangement of a sentence in speaking English. The result of statement number thirty eight presented 10 of the
respondents strongly disagreed and 16.67 of the respondents disagreed that the respondents had more time to prepare materials to speak English through that
