2. Complication : a problem arises followed by other problems 3. Resolution : solution to the problem
Look at the example below.
The Hare and the Tortoise
The hare was once boasting of his speed to the
other animals in the forest. Orientation
“I have never yet been beaten,” he said, “when I put forth my full speed. I challenge anyone here to race with
me.” The tortoise said quietly, “I accept your challenge.”
“That is a good joke,” said the hare. “I can dance around you all the way.”
“Keep your bosting until you’ve beaten,” answered the tortoise. “Shall we race?”
So a course was fixed and a start was made. The hare ran almost out of the sight at once, but soon stopped and, to
wait for the tortoise, lay down to have a nap. The tortoise slowly walked and when the hare woke from his nap, he
saw the tortoise nearing the finish line. Complication
The hare woke up and ran as fast as he could but could not reach the finish line in time. Since that day, he
realized that arrogancy could not defeat a hard work.
