BAB III METODE PENELITIAN
Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian korelasional sebab digunakan untuk melihat hubungan antara adversity quotient
dengan komitmen organisasi. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan statistik.
A. IDENTIFIKASI VARIABEL PENELITIAN
Terdapat dua variabel yang menjadi fokus utama dalam penelitian ini. Variabel-variabel tersebut adalah:
1. Variabel tergantung dependent variable
: Komitmen Organisasi 2.
Variabel bebas independent variable : Adversity Quotient
B. DEFINISI OPERASIONAL VARIABEL PENELITIAN
Definisi operasional adalah suatu definisi mengenai variabel-variabel yang dirumuskan berdasarkan karakteristik. Untuk menghindari definisi suatu variabel
yang ambigu atau memiliki makna ganda atau tidak menunjukan indikator yang jelas, maka dirumuskanlah definisi operasional sebagai berikut:
1. Komitmen Organisasi
Komitmen organisasi adalah kondisi psikologis dimana karyawan loyal terhadap organisasi dan mau berusaha mencapai tujuan organisasi.
Komitmen organisasi dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga komponen, yaitu komitmen afektif, komitmen berkelanjutan dan komitmen normatif.
