Laboratorium menggunakan Marshall Test dengan variasi kadar aspal 6,5, 6.75, 7, 7.25 dan 7.5. Metode ini sering disebut dengan metode Asphalt Institute. Dari pengujian marshall didapatkan nilai densitas, porositas, stabilitas, Flow dan Marshall Quotient MQ. Hasil perhitungan selanjutnya ditampilkan pada Tabel 4.9.
