Based on data on the characteristics of the study subjects showed that there was not much difference between the number of subjects the male sex and the number of female subjects.
While based on blood glucose levels, 50 of the total number of study subjects had blood glucose levels above the average normal blood glucose, and the other 50 still belongs to the
category of normal blood glucose levels. Data analysis techniques are used to test the association or predict the health status of blood
glucose levels and social support in determining the psychological well-being of individuals with diabetes mellitus type 2, namely multiple regression analysis through SPSS version 15.
Regression test results show significant differences between each independent variables on the dependent variable of psychological well-being. The existence of a significant associations
between social support on psychological well-being with a significant level of 0.115 and a correlation coefficient of 0.218. While the health status variables, namely blood glucose levels to
psychological well-being showed a correlation coefficient of 0.341 with a significance level of 0.028. Between social support and health status of the blood glucose levels showed a correlation
coefficient of 0.151 with a significance level of 0.205. Based on the value of R square is 0.145 indicating that the variables of social support and health status of the blood glucose levels,
predictable determine the psychological well-being of individuals with diabetes mellitus type 2 amounted to 14.5.
Based on the results of the multiple regression analysis can be discussed that social support is not directly related to psychological well-being of individuals with diabetes mellitus type 2, while
health status is unpredictable blood glucose levels contribute to psychological well-being of individuals with type 2 diabetes mellitus, compared with social support.

2.3 Discussion
Some things can be explained with regard to rejection of the hypothesis of this research. Various factors can affect the health status and health-related quality of life in type 2 diabetes mellitus
One is the characteristics of the subject, namely the socio-economic factors, the presence of complications of diabetes mellitus type 2, and health behaviors, duration of illness suffered as a
contributing factor to the quality of life health-related individuals with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Control of the complications of type 2 diabetes mellitus has been conducted in this study, which
is used as exclusion criteria for study subjects. While healthy behavioral factors, duration of diabetes mellitus type 2 and socioeconomic not controlled in this study. Characteristics of the
study subjects work related to socioeconomic factors, consists of work as civil servants, private sector employees, self-employed, housewives, and others which includes work as laborers,
traders and retirees, the distribution amount is not much different. Psychological well-being can be predicted through physical health, or in other words that one of
the factors that influence individual psychological well-being is physical health condition. Healthy physiologically in individuals with diabetes mellitus type 2 is the ability to control blood
glucose levels at a normal rate, through adherence to the rules of the management of diabetes mellitus type 2. Half of the respondent had blood glucose levels above normal. It can be argued
that the existence of controls that tend to lower the blood glucose levels, which can be influenced by several factors. Factors that may contribute to the control that tends to lower the blood
glucose levels as subject to rules compliance management diabetes mellitus type 2, self-efficacy beliefs related to the ability to adhere the treatment regimens of diabetes mellitus type 2, coping
skills, and social support . Social support is not directly related to psychological well-being of individuals with diabetes
mellitus type 2, but social support have a better relationship to self-efficacy, rather than a direct relationship with treatment adherence. Good social support tended related to high self-efficacy.
Higher self-efficacy is tend to contribute to adherence to treatment regimens of diabetes mellitus type, to achieve good physical condition is a normal blood glucose levels, as well as obtaining
the psychological well-being. The results obtained in this study has many weaknesses. The weakness in this study comes from
the lack of control on the demographic characteristics of the subject as a factor that can affect health status, quality and psychological well-being of individuals with type 2 diabetes mellitus as
a long illness, socioeconomic factors, marital status, presence or absence of stress conditions experienced.
In addition, the importance of considering or measure other variables are variables mediator between social support and psychological well-being. In fact, considering the other variables are
predicted to play a role to influence the psychological well-being of individuals with diabetes mellitus type 2, to obtain more comprehensive data. It is also important to expand the number of
research subjects to generalize the results of the research.
