The students can choose the material and the subject which is suitable with the school condition and situation. Tell them that creativity plays a big role. 5. Explain to them that concept mapping helps the students visualize their ideas and effective to recall the information. Ask the student to write their ideas about travel brochure they’ve learned previously. They can write in balloons. The students are free to add more balloons and branches. 6. Remind the student to write it based on the values of a good brochure they’ve learned. Then, each group will display the brochure. Invite the students to give opinion about their friends’ work. In the end the class will vote the best travel brochure. 7. Tell them to imagine that they work in Management Center and Data Network System P2DSJ Ministry of Culture rand Tourism. They are going to give presentation about the number of visits of foreign tourist in West Sumatra. In order to do it clearly, the students should present the data in graph. Ask them to refer the information from the text ‘Minangkabau, Favourite Destination Malaysian Tourist’. Later, the class votes the best speaker in each group. 8. YOUR TURN Meeting Topic : 5 Sport Type of Activities : writing Participant : individual Function Practiced : writing a biography MI Area : Linguistic Tell the students that they are going to write a biography of someone that you consider as a champion. Give them an example of your own. It could be anybody in their surroundings, family, or their idol. Give them some question as a guide in writing a biography. 9.
