3. Developing preliminary form of product. It comprises Kemp’ steps of teaching-learning activities and instructional resources selection.
4. Field testing. It contains of Kemp’s step of evaluation 5. Final product revision. It contains of Kemp’s step of revision.
The answer of the second research question was presented as the final version of the designed material. The final version of the designed material can be
seen in appendix K. The arrangement of the material is described in table 5.1 below.

As a framework, each meeting was divided into four main parts. The first
part is Snapshot which is the introductory part to stimulate students’ interest and
to activate students’ prior knowledge of the learning material. The second part is
Be Ready to Roll which is the preparatory tasks before going to the main activity. The third part is Walk Ahead, which contains of the main activities to practice
the expressions and skills introduced in the earlier part. The last part is Watch My Progress, which provides the reflection area of the whole activities for students.
Before presenting the final version, the designed material was evaluated by distributing questionnaire to two English teachers of SMA Santa Maria
Yogyakarta and two ELSEP lecturers of Sanata Dharma University. The results of
the questionnaire were analyzed using central tendency. The result shown the means ranged between 4-5. It indicated that the designed material were well-
designed and acceptable. The outcomes signified that the designed materials were ready to be applied in language major grade XI of SMA Santa Maria Yogyakarta.
However, there were some revisions conducted to make the designed materials better. The revisions were done based on the feedback and suggestions from field
testing respondents.
