The word ada is a base verb because it is built from the free morpheme based
on the form in the classification of verb in SL system Bahasa Indonesia. It is a transitive verb because it is followed by an object rasa perih based on the argument
in the classification of verb in SL system Bahasa Indonesia. In SFL, it is known as
an Existential Process, because the word ada represents that something exists or
happens. It is a small-set of closely related verb meaning ‘exist’ or ‘happens’.
The word cut is an original verb based on the form in the classification of verb in TT system English. It is known as the Material Process because it expresses the
notion that an entity does something cut, which may be done by some other entity. So, there is verbal shift from existential process in ST into material process in
TT based on the SFL.

There are some verbal shifts from verbal process in ST into another processes in TT, they are:

The word dibilang is a derivative verb because it is built from the affixation process di- + V that means say based on the form in the classification of verb in SL
system Bahasa Indonesia. In SFL, it is known as a Verbal Process, because it is a

The word merayu is a derivative verb because it is built from the affixation process me- + V that means do something based on the form in the classification of

participant she; the one who ‘sense’. It is categorized as the thinking type of mental process.
So, there is verbal shift from verbal process in ST into mental process in TT based on the SFL.

The word mulai is a base verb because It is built from the free morpheme
based on the form in the classification of verb in SL system Bahasa Indonesia. In
SFL, it is known as a Material Process, because it shows the material process
obligatorily have a doing mulai and a goal pakaian dalam hingga tas. While, the Target Text TT does not have any verb, means that it does not
have any process because a process is realized by verb. So, in this case, I name it
Non-Process.
So, there is verbal shift from material process in ST into non-process in TT based on the SFL.
