First Meeting Lesson Plan Topic: Expressing thank you, compliment, and congratulation
Standard Competencies: To understand meaning in transactional and interpersonal conversation in the context
daily life.
Basic Competencies: To respond meaning in formal and informal transactional to get things done and
interpersonal socialize conversation accurately, fluently and acceptable that using simple discourse in various daily life contexts and involves expression of thank you,
compliment, and congratulation.
Indicators:
- Students are able to identify the expression thank you from the recording.
- Students are able to identify the expression of compliment from the recording.
- Students are able to respond the expression of congratulation from the recording.
- Students are able to make a dialogue that containing expression of thank you.
- Students are able to make to introduce themselves.
- Students are able to identify specific information from the recording.
- Students are able to understand the recording by answering the given questions.
Teaching Learning Sequence A.
Introduction
- Teacher greets the students.
- Teacher opens the class by praying.
- Teacher states the objectives of today activities which are able to ask information
about town, collect information, and introduce them selves -
Teacher asks students to do brain storming about how to introduce your self. -
Teacher asks the students to make group of three. In each group, 1 student will become the citizen of different cities and the other will become the tourists or the
strangers. The group of the students who are the citizen discuss together kinds of information that can be used, expressions for describing their cities, and how to
introduce their selves. Divide the strangers or tourists students into 5 groups and ask them to discuss the expressions for asking information and introducing them
selves to strangers
- Students are asked to make their own identity and town. The tourists or the
stranger must at least know or have information from 3 cities -
Teacher asks the students to perform the dialogue. In the dialog, students must give the expressions of introduction, asking for information and all the members speak
in performing the dialog
