- Teacher summarizes the lesson today. - Teacher gives the reflection sheets to the students. - Teacher explains students’ assignment for the next meeting. - Teacher closes the lesson by praying.

E. Evaluation and Assessment

Students are evaluated and assessed by checking their understanding about the text and their performance in performing the dialogue or the tasks given to them. For the dialogue students can be evaluated as follows: Content the information conveying in the dialogue in accordance or not Fluency are they fluent or not Accuracy grammar and pronunciation For the score of the exercises Matching points :5 scores True false :10 points Vocabulary exercises : 20 points 10 point for the antonym and 10 point for the meaning 108 Lesson Plan Unit 2 ‘Nice to Meet You’ Second Meeting Lesson Plan Topic: Expressing thank you, compliment, and congratulation Standard Competencies: To understand meaning in transactional and interpersonal conversation in the context daily life. Basic Competencies: To respond meaning in formal and informal transactional to get things done and interpersonal socialize conversation accurately, fluently and acceptable that using simple discourse in various daily life contexts and involves expression of thank you, compliment, and congratulation. Indicators: - Students are able to make a dialogue that containing expression of thank you. - Students are able to introduce themselves. - Students are able to complete the recording script. - Students are able to develop the listening record by making the comic strip. - Students are able to summarize the recording script by using their own words. Teaching Learning Sequence A. Introduction - Teacher greets the students. - Teacher opens the class by praying. - Teacher reviews previous lesson. - Teacher asks students opinion about previous lessons. - Students are asked to make group of 4-5 students.

B. Whilst Activities

- Teacher explains today activities to the students. - Students are asked to fill in the missing words from the text using their own words or their memory from the last meting. - Teacher plays the recording maximum 3 times. - Teacher discusses students answer. - Students in groups 4 or 5 are asked to develop the dialogue by making a comic strip representing the dialog. The group must have group leader and checker. The group leader divides job description and the checker checks whether all group member work their job description. The group leader and checker must work as well. The division can be like this; two students draw the characters and the others make the dialog then revised the comic strips together. Teacher monitors and checks the group discussions and assists the students if they have difficulties. 109 - Students in the same group are asked to make new identities similar with the recording and perform them in their group. All the group members must be able to introduce themselves so in the groups each member helping one to another so that all the members are able to perform the dialog. Teacher will choose randomly one student to perform the dialog in the group. - Groups decide which one is the best and become the representative. The teacher asks group representative to perform in the front of class and the whole class will decide which one is the best. - Students summarize the dialogue using their own words as home work.

- Teacher summarizes the lesson today. - Teacher gives reflection sheets to the students. - Teacher closes the lesson today.
