3. Respondents’ Comments on the Designed Set of Materials
Besides answering questions in the questionnaire, the writer also provides the other part of the questionnaire. In the second part, the writer provides four
questions about the overall comment for the designed materials. In the second part, the respondents gave their comments about the strength, weaknesses, and

77 The respondents assumed that the designed materials are good and suitable
for the tenth grade of senior high school students. The students can learn from the simple knowledge to more complex knowledge in the materials. The materials are
challenging because the materials are not too easy or too difficult to understand. The students also can learn to apply the knowledge from the materials in the daily
life situation. In the design, the instruction for the users, students and teachers, are clearly enough and easy to understand and the sequence of the activities also well
arranged and easy to follow.
4. The Strengths of The Designed Set of English Listening Materials
According to the respondents’ opinion there are some strengths of the designed materials. In the designed materials the students are forced to develop
their ability in English by listening to the materials and applying the knowledge in the daily life situation. Through the materials, students also can expand their
vocabulary mastery from the exercises of Vocabulary Enforcement. The materials are very interesting also challenging for the students. There are various activities
for students in leaning the materials in the design. The recordings are very clear and interesting. The pace of the recordings is not too fast. The length is not too
