Second Meeting Lesson Plan Topic: Expressing agreement and disagreement
Standard Competencies: To understand meaning in transactional and interpersonal conversation in the context
daily life.
Basic Competencies: To respond meaning in formal and informal transactional to get things done and
interpersonal socialize conversation accurately, fluently and acceptable that using simple discourse in various daily life contexts and involves expression of agreement and
disagreement.
Indicators:
- Students are able to identify the meaning of agreement and disagreement
expression. -
Students are able to develop the listening passage based on the situation. -
Students are able to make the expression of agreement and disagreement based on the situation.
- Students are able to respond the agreement and disagreement expressions in
accordance with the situation. -
Students are able to make a dialog that expresses agreement and disagreement.
Teaching Learning Sequence A.
Introduction
- Teacher greets the students.
- Teacher opens the class by praying.
- Teacher reviews previous meeting.
- Teacher asks the students to sit in their groups.
B. Whilst Activities
- Teacher asks the students about their last meeting assignment.
- Students perform their assignment.
- Teacher explains about agreement and disagreement expressions.
- Students in group of 4-5, ensure all their members understand about the
agreement and disagreement expressions. Teacher will ask randomly some students about the materials. The group will have extra score if one of its
members could answer questions given.
- Students complete the dialog using the expressions given.
- Students are given different situations and asked to make a dialogue that contains
the agreement and disagreement expressions in accordance with the situation
117 given. The group leader divides the job description to the rest and checker checks
whether all members work their job. For example: one student is assigned to choose the situation given, another makes the dialog and the others check the
works and practice the dialog.
C. Closing
- Teacher reviews today lesson.
- Teacher asks students opinion about today activities.

advertisement, invitation, etc accurately, fluently and acceptable in various daily life contexts.
Indicators:
- Students are able to understand the procedures used in the airport.
- Students are able to write down the correct procedures used in an airport.
- Students are able to arrange the procedures into good order or arrangement.
- Students are able to rewrite the generic structure of procedure used.
- Students are able to develop the materials into various forms based on their
understanding in accordance with the situation.
