The Weaknesses of the Learning Model

142 media. AFORN can be installed in any smartphones or tablets with Android Os. It helps the students to stay access English materials at anytime and anywhere. So, they can learn English not only in the classroom situation. Since AFORN is available in the smartphones or tablet, it is portable, flexible, and simple. So, AFORN is easy in use. The students may have a kind of learning media which is included in their gadget which usually they bring wherever and whenever they go.

B. Suggestions

In this part, the researcher would like to give suggestions for the users and for the next research. AFORN enables the students to conduct self-study inside or outside the classroom. This learning media is portable so that it can be accessed in anytime and anywhere. But, the students should be able to use the learning media continually. Besides, they should be able to monitor their progress so that the learning media would be effective. The lecturer must also control and monitor the students in using the learning media. The lecturer should conduct such kind of assessment for the students. The AFORN is a kind of learning media which is installed in smartphones or tablets, those things are kind of mobile devices which still have weaknesses. The incapabilities experienced by the researcher in developing the learning media is related with data storage size and multimedia limitations. If the size of the application is more than 5 MB, it will not work well and hard to build from the App Inventor to the harddisk of the computer. App Inventor is a web media for the researcher to develop the learning media, AFORN. Then from the App 143 Inventor, the file must be build up so that it will be an apk format to be saved in computer. By this apk file, the file can just be installed to smartphones or tablets. The other weakness is about the multimedia limitation. Considering to the data storage, it was hard to have bigger size of file, so that including video to the AFORN through App Inventor was so hard because video usually has big size. Considering to the weaknesses, the producer of App Inventor should find solution to the weaknesses. The data storage should be increased so that it support video file or any other file with larger size. 144 BIBLIOGRAPHY AbuSa‟aLeek, Atef Odeh. 2014.
