support Students are able to communicate one another as a group discussion. Forum There are four exercises in AFORN; 1 Vocabulary, 2 Useful Expression, 3 Tasks, and 4 Pronunciation Drill. All the activities and features can be accessed by the students in simple way. This is based on principle of equitable use. Vocabulary practice provides the learner pictures or medical terms dealing with the topic being discussed in each unit. In this section, students can also hear the correct pronunciation of the term and practice it with the feedback after it. The students can still do this activity even though there is no internet connection. If the students make mistakes they can revise it or try again the activity. Useful Expression provides the students with some expression which are usually used in the conversation with the patients. The expressions help the students to produce proper dialog with patients. The students can also hear the spoken expressions . The students can only click the button „play‟ to hear the correct pronunciation. They can do it in many times. Tasks section consists of three exercises, namely; Jumbled Words, Listening Practice, and Group Assessment. In Jumbled Words, student should arrange the jumbled words into 100 a good sentence. They can revise it until they get correct answer since the feedback will directly appear after clicking the button „answer‟. By rearranging the jumbled words, the students get practice on grammar and structures of English. The second exercise in Tasks section is Listening Practice. In this part students will learn conversations by native speakers, the text is also provided but there are some words missing. So, the students must complete the text. No internet connection needed in this part. The students can just simply fill in all the blanks and then click button „check‟ to know the result. The last part in Task section is Group Assessment. In this part, the students make dialog with the topic chosen then they should submit the recorded dialog to the lecturer. The last is Pronunciation Drill which provides some medical terms completed with pronunciation practice. The students can hear the correct pronunciation then practice it. The feedback will also appear after. After completing exercises in each unit, the students can go to Review. Review helps the students recognize many nursing equipments, such as cotton swab, blood pressure monitor, lancets, etc. All the exercises are completed with feedback and also scoring so the students know their progress. In the end of the learning even only learn in one unit or all unit, then the students should enter the data like name and student number. The data then will be saved in the application. The data shows how many times a student has entered the AFORN. Besides the five lessons, Review and many other activities, there are also Forum zone and About zone. In Forum zone, the students can chat with their peers or lecturer. It helps the students have group discussion. The discussion can be via email, Blackberry Messenger BBM, BBM Group, WhatsApp, 101 Facebook Messenger, Short Message Service SMS, Google Drive, Google +, Bluetooth, Line , Wifi, or Dropbox. About zone provides information about the application, author, and references. The choice of exercises and activities also considered the Brown‟s Microskills of oral communication 2000. He claimed that in teaching oral communication, teacher should help the students to learn not only the main part language but also some components that build the main skill. It means that students should learn some other skills like producing chunks, correct pronunciation, grammar competence, using appropriate words, phrases, sentences in certain context p. 272. Listening activity also plays important rules as the major index of language proficiency. Listening activity is as important input in second language acquisition p.248. Vocabulary activity helps the learner to produce words or phrases with correct English stress patterns and intonation, Useful Expression helps the students to produce phrases and sentences in certain context in order to accomplish pragmatic purposes, Grammar practice in Jumbled Words helps the students with correct grammatical word classes, word orders, and patterns. Listening practice can be the comprehensible input or second language learners, Pronunciation Drill gives the students opportunity to produce English stress patterns and intonational contours. Group Assessment that students in group of two should make dialog with certain topic is the assessment for the students‟ progress after learning materials, activities and exercises in AFORN.
