• Revamping Kilang UP VI Balongan - Tahap II
Proyek ini melakukan modifikasi minor peralatan CDU dan RCC dan meningkatkan Recovery Light End
Section unit RCC, yang menghasilkan peningkatan produksi Propylene. Disamping itu, proyek ini juga
akan meningkatkan kehandalan operasi CDU pada kapasitas 100 sebesar 130 MBCD dengan merubah
perbandingan volume Crude Duri : Minas menjadi 1 : 1. Pada tahun 2008 sudah selesai proses EPC.
• Proyek Polypropylene Kilang UP VI Balongan
Polypropylene Project PP Balongan ini adalah untuk menaikkan nilai tambah Propylene menjadi
Polypropylene yang sangat dibutuhkan oleh industri plastik, film fiber serta menghindari risiko bisnis
bila Propylene langsung dijual kepada OfftakerBuyer, terkait perilaku harga produk Petrokimia yang sangat
fluktuatif tergantung suplai dan demand. Pada tahun 2008 telah dilakukan pemilihan licensor dengan
bantuan konsultan independen.
• RFCC Cilacap
Proyek ini dimaksudkan untuk penggantian unit Visbreaker existing dengan unit Residual Catalystic
Cracking RCC yang dapat meningkatkan margin Kilang Cilacap. RCC complex mengkonversikan
produk samping Atmospheric Residue LSWR menjadi produk BBM dan Petrokimia yang bernilai
tinggi seperti LPG, Gasoline, dan Propylene. Pada tahun 2008 sedang dilaksanakan Proses Re-Tender
EPC Kontraktor.
4. Pemasaran Niaga
a. Bidang Pemasaran Pipanisasi Rewulu Teras dan Pembangunan
Depot Teras
Proyek ini dimaksudkan untuk meningkatkan kehandalan dan efisiensi distribusi BBM di Jawa
Tengah khususnya daerah BoyolaliSolo dan sekitarnya serta mengurangi beban instalasi
Semarang. Pada tahun 2008 proyek ini telah selesai dilaksanakan.
Upgrading TTU Balongan dan Pembangunan Depot Cikampek
Proyek ini dimaksudkan untuk meningkatkan kehandalan efisiensi serta memperkuat jaringan
distribusi BBM di wilayah DKI Jakarta dan Jawa Barat serta sebagian Sumatera, meningkatkan efisiensi
biaya distribusi dengan menghilangkan biaya sewa floating storage yang saat ini berada di Teluk
Semangka, untuk mengurangi bebankepadatan Depot Plumpang Jakarta, mengurangi biaya
angkutan tanker ke depot Plumpang. Pada tahun 2008 proyek ini telah selesai dilaksanakan.
• Revamping of the UP VI Balongan Refinery -
Phase II
The project covers minor modifications to the CDU and RCC equipment and improvements to the RCC
Recovery Light End Section resulting in increased propylene production. Furthermore, It will also improve
the durability of the CDU operation to 100 or 130 MBCD by changing the ratio of Duri to Minas crude to
1:1. As of 2008, the EPC had been completed.
• Balongan UP VI Refinery Propylene Project
The Balongan Propylene Project PP is aimed at increasing the added value of propylene by producing
polypropylene, which is a vital raw material for the plastic, film and fiber industries as well as avoiding the
business risk of propylene being sold directly to offtakers and buyers, given that the prices of petrochemicals are
highly variable, depending on supply and demand. As of 2008, a licensor had been selected with the assistance
of an independent consultant.
• Cilacap RFCC
This project is intended to replace the existing Visbreaker unit with a Residual Catalytic Cracking RCC unit, which
will improve the margin of the Cilacap Refinery. The RCC complex will convert byproducts of atmospheric
residue LSWR into high value oil fuel and petrochemical products such as LPG, gasoline and
propylene. As of 2008, the EPC contractor re-tender process was underway.
4. Marketing and Trading
a. Marketing Rewulu - Teras Pipeline and Construction of the
Teras Dept
This project is intended to improve the reliability and efficiency of fuel distribution in Central Java, particularly
in the Boyolali and Solo region as well as to reduce the load on the Semarang installation. This project was
completed in 2008.
Upgrading of the Balongan Main Transit Terminal TTU and Construction of the Cikampek Dept
This project is intended to improve reliability and efficiency and to upgrade the fuel distribution network
in Jakarta and West Java as well as part of Sumatera, produce distribution cost efficiencies by saving on fees
for floating storage in Semangka Bay, reduce the load on the Plumpang Dept, Jakarta and reduce the cost of
tanker transport to the Plumpang Depot. This project was completed in 2008.

SPBU Jawa dan Bali Sumatera Utara
Proyek ini dimaksudkan untuk memperkuat jaringan distribusi ritail BBM dan peningkatan laba. SPBU ini
juga dimaksudkan sebagai sarana promosi produk Pertamina dan SPBU percontohanstandard
Pertamina, yang dapat meningkatkan ”Image Pertamina” melalui SPBU ”Flag Carrier” Pertamina.
Pada tahun 2008 melanjutkan sisa SPBU yang belum terealisasi yaitu SPBU Abdul Muis dan sisa lingkup
SPBU Denpasar. Proyek ini selesai pada tahun 2008.
Pembangunan SPBU COCO di Jawa Sumatera serta Dealer Retention
Proyek ini dimaksudkan untuk mempertahankan market share BBM transportasi di Indonesia dan
peningkatan citra Pertamina. Secara garis besar terdiri atas dua program besar, yaitu pembangunan
SPBU Company Owned Company Operated SPBU COCO dan Dealer Retention, keduanya dilakukan
secara selektif di kota-kota besar di Indonesia, dengan tahap awal difokuskan di Pulau Jawa dan Bali.
Terminal Transit Utama TTU Tuban Pipanisasi Tuban - Surabaya
Proyek ini dimaksudkan untuk meningkatkan kehandalan efisiensi serta memperkuat jaringan
distribusi BBM di wilayah Jawa Timur dan sebagian Indonesia bagian Timur, serta pasokan supply ke
Instalasi Surabaya Group ISG. Selain itu dapat dilakukan efisiensi biaya distribusi dengan
menghilangkan biaya sewa “floating storage” yang saat ini berada di Situbondo Jawa Timur dan biaya
angkutan tanker. Pembangunan TTU dan pipanisasi ini akan memperkuat jaringan distribusi BBM untuk
Jawa Bali. Pada tahun 2008 telah dilaksanakan konstruksi di lapangan dan aktivitas offshore.
Pembangunan Terminal Transit Bau-Bau Sulawesi
Proyek ini dimaksudkan untuk mengurangi biaya demurage di pelabuhan Makasar dan meningkatkan
kehandalan pasokan, serta mengurangi biaya distribusi BBM untuk daerah Sulawesi bagian selatan
dan tenggara. Pada tahun 2008 proses pembuatan kontrak, tanggal efektif dimulai pekerjaan 10
Desember 2008.
Modernisasi LOBP Surabaya
Proyek ini dalam rangka meningkatkan kapasitas dan teknologi upgrading Lube Oil Blending Plant
LOBP eksisting di Surabaya dalam rangka mengantisipasi persaingan yang ketat untuk
memasarkan produk pelumas di era persaingan pasar bebas yang telah dibuka sejak tahun 2001.
Java, Bali and North Sumatera Gas Stations SPBU
This project was intended to upgrade the fuel retail distribution network and improve profits. These gas
stations will also be targeted to promote Pertamina products and will become Pertamina standard, which
will further improve the Image of Pertamina by becoming Pertamina Flag Carrier Gas Stations.
In 2008, the remaining gas stations, namely Abdul Muis and the Denpasar region were included in the project,
which was then completed.
Construction of COCO Gas Stations in Java and Sumatera and Dealer Retention
This project is intended to retain the market share for transportation fuel in Indonesia and to improve
Pertaminas image. It is divided into two components: construction of Company Owned Company Operated
COCO gas stations and dealer retention, both carried out selectively in major cities in Indonesia, with the
initial focus in Java and Bali.
Tuban Main Transit Terminal TTU and Tuban - Surabaya Pipeline
This project is intended to improve the reliability and efficiency as well as upgrade the fuel distribution
network in East Java and part of eastern Indonesia as well as to supply the Surabaya Group Installations ISG.
It will also result in distribution cost savings by eliminating fees for floating storage in Situbondo, East
Java, and tanker transportation. This terminal and pipeline project will also upgrade the fuel distribution
network in Java and Bali. As of 2008, the field construction and offshore activities had been
completed.
Construction of the Bau-Bau Sulawesi Transit Terminal
This project is intended to reduce the demurrage costs at the Makassar port and improve d of supplies, as well
as to reduce fuel distribution costs for South and South East Sulawesi. As of 2008 the contract had been
produced, effective as of December 10, 2008.
Modernization of the Surabaya Lube Oil Blending Plant LOBP
This project is part of the effort to increase the capacity and upgrade the technology of the existing Lube Oil
Blending Plant LBOP in Surabaya to anticipate tough competition in marketing lubricant products in free
market zone which was implemented in 2001.

Teknologi proyek ini mengaplikasikan sistem operasi In-line Blending ILB dan Automatic Batch Blending
ABB yang diharapkan dapat mengefisienkan biaya operasi dan meningkatkan fleksibilitas. Disamping
itu, mutu produk dapat dikontrol lebih mudah dan akurat sehingga produk yang dihasilkan dapat
bersaing dengan produk lain yang sejenis. Status proyek sampai tahun 2008 sudah penyelesaian
Engineering Procurement Construction EPC.
Penggantian Grease Plant di Unit Produk di Pelumas Jakarta
Proyek ini dimaksudkan untuk mengganti Grease Plant existing yang sudah tua, kurang efisien dan
sulit dikembangkan, dengan teknologi yang lebih modern, lebih efisien dan didukung otomasi
sehingga tidak hanya mampu memproduksi conventional grease tapi juga complex grease sesuai
tuntutan konsumen. Status 2008 adalah melakukan enjineering dan lelang pada kontraktor.
Penggantian Fasilitas Depot Pengisian Pesawat Udara DPPU Soekarno-Hatta
Proyek ini untuk meningkatkan kehandalan operasi DPPU Soekarno-Hatta melalui pelaksanaan
pekerjaan major renewal pada seluruh aset, serta menjamin kesesuaian compliance fasilitas DPPU
Soekarno-Hatta terhadap persyaratan pelanggan dan industri Aviasi internasional. Pada tahun 2008
telah dilakukan proses EPC dan akan selesai serta dioperasikan tahun 2010.
Relokasi DPPU Hassanuddin Makassar
Sejalan dengan pembangunan Bandara Inter- nasional Hasanuddin yang baru dilokasi yang
berbeda maka dalam rangka mempertahankan pasar aviasi perlu dilakukan relokasi DPPU
Hasanuddin. Saat ini pola angkutan avtur dari Instalasi Makassar ke DPPU Hasanuddin
menggunakan bridger dan dalam rangka mengantisipasi meningkatnya kebutuhan avtur dan
kepadatan lalu lintas, maka akan diganti dengan sistem pipanisasi. Pada tahun 2008 proyek ini dalam
proses lelang.
Relokasi DPPU Polonia ke Kualanamu-Medan
DPPU Polonia telah dioperasikan oleh Pertamina selama lebih dari 34 tahun dan sejalan dengan
pembangunan pemindahan bandara Polonia ke lokasi baru di Kualanamu, maka dalam rangka
mempertahankan pasar aviasi Pertamina harus membangun DPPU baru di Kualanamu. Pada tahun
2008 pelaksanaan proyek ditunda karena perubahan spesifikasi teknis sehingga investasi yang dibutuhkan
jauh lebih besar. This project uses the In-Line Blending ILB and
Automatic Batch Blending ABB operational systems which are expected to reduce operating costs and
improve flexibility. In addition, product quality can be more easily and accurately controlled, ensuring
products can compete more effectively. As of 2008, the EPC had been completed.
Replacement of the Grease plant at the Product Unit at Pelumas Jakarta
This project is intended to replace the existing grease plant, which is old, inefficient and difficult to improve,
with modern and more efficient technology with automatic support so it is not only able to produce
conventional grease but also complex grease according to consumer demand. As of 2008, engineering work
and the contractor auction were underway.
Replacement of Facilities at the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Aircraft Refueling Depot DPUU
This project will improve the reliability of the Soekarno- Hatta Airport DPPU through a major renewal of all
assets as well as compliance management of the Soekarno-Hata Airport DPUU with international
aviation industry standards. As of 2008 the EPC had been completed, and the project will be completed and
operational in 2010.
Relocation of the Hassanuddin Makassar Aircraft Refueling Depot DPUU
With the construction of the relocated Hassanuddin International Airport, the Hassanuddin DPPU needed
to be relocated to maintain the market share for avtur. The transportation of avtur from the Makassar
Installation to the Hassanuddin DPPU used a brigdger and in anticipation of the increased demand for avtur
and traffic congestion, it needed to be replaced with a pipeline. This project is in tender process in 2008
Relocation of the Polonia Airport Aircraft Refueling Depot DPUU to Kualanamu - Medan
The Polonia Airport DPPU has been operated by Pertamina for more than 34 years and with the
relocation of Polonia Airport to a new location at Kualanamu, Pertamina will have to move the DPPU in
order to maintain the market share for aviation fuel. In 2008 the project was delayed because of changes
to the technical specification that required a far higher level of investment.
